Have been listening to more Lucie/Eight Big Finish audios. The Lucie/Eight dynamic is similar to the Donna/Ten dynamic, yes? Except less emo-angst in the former.

Also, I think I have become obsessed with the Sarah Jana Adventures a little more than is considered healthy.

Hmmm, I haven't heard enough of Eight/Lucie to comment, but she did remind me strongly of Donna in what I did har.

And nothing wrong with being obsessed with the SJA. It's just awesome heaped with awesome.

I totally agree! I was feeling like a right perve for a while before I found out his real age.

You know, I hadn't thought of it like that, but it is quite similar. If I were parsing her personality in terms of Nu Who characters, I suppose Lucie might be a blend of Rose and Donna, though the way she relates to the Doctor is definitely closer to Donna than Rose.
