I do this every few years, my hair gets so log and damaged from all the dye i finally give in to cutting it off. Usually a very ugly cut i cry and hate within a hour after its done.This time has been lots of effort and thought put into it. well if your going to cut it off anyway...why not let your natural color come back in and give your hair a little time to get healthy again and then when you cut it, donate it to one of those charities that makes wigs for cancer patients and the like.
just a thought.
its kinda hard for me to imagine you with short hair btw. hope you'll let us see when you you do cut it.

Unrelated to your post--I have a good friend in Renton and I asked her to pick up your paper, but she couldn't find it. SHe even called the Renton Reporter to find out where she could get one, but the copy she picked up didn't have the story you posted a link to. :(
