I have a surgery date! Yea! I've been scheduled for the 24th of January. It's just a month before we leave, but that should be more than enough time for me to recoup. The surgeon was scheduling for mid Feb, but just for me, he's coming in on a day off. He explained today it should be a 1 or 2 night hospital stay and about 10 days before I'm back to ( Read more... )

I'm glad you're getting your surgery. I had heartburn the past two days and it sucks. I couldn't imagine having to live with it 24/7.

And the party sounds absolutely kickass, btw. I need to do that.

As for Pirates, I loved it, but it seemed so... shallow. Like most of those scenes were put together to make people happy about where they story was going. I mean, could you not predict that Tia was Calypso? Honestly. And I am a SUPREME Johnny Depp-Zombie ("Need.... more... Johnny!!"), but other than the fact that I just find Jack to be a cool character with a really cute accent (I'm a sucker for accents that aren't 'American') he just isn't that awesome in this movie. I mean, he was, but he wasn't. The whole story just kinda ... sucked while still being good? Does that make sense to you?

it's surgery for reflux...hopefully so I will be heartburn free forever!

A day after the party I was scanning blogs and really taking time to read all the posts. I could have been much more up to date with whats going on with you if I'd read your blog more often!
