Kaneki and Haise had finally found a place to move out. It was a small house in a peaceful neighborhood with lots of dandelions planted around the place.
They were newlyweds, with a four years long history of love to back up their relationship and many dreams and plans.
“Tenshi, can you please pass me the green? I want to paint some trees.”
Haise asked to his beloved, pointing to the can full of ink; they were painting the living room, drawing on the walls to let the house more homelike.
“Yes, here you---!!” And as he was handing the can to his husband, some drops of ink splattered in Haise’s white shirt. “I’m sorry!” He immediately said, sounding worried.
“Eh, it’s fine, it comes out with water,” Sasaki explained while looking at his damaged shirt. “Just need to wash it!” He smiled, wanting to ease Kaneki’s mind.
“…Really?” The black-haired male asked, dipping one finger in the green ink and smearing it a bit, painting his own hand.
“Yes! It’s non-toxic too and---!”
Haise widened his eyes when he felt his husband’s finger on his cheek, marking it white a lively green mark.
Kaneki’s face was stoic, but his eyes were glowing with mischief while a tiny smile started to spread in his lips.
For a moment, both of them were quiet, looking at each other, but in the next moment Haise was on top of Kaneki, painting him with blue and purple.
The black-haired male was laughing, trying to escape from his husband, spreading more green in his shirt.
“Are you ready to give up?” Sasaki asked with a big smile, having Kaneki crushed underneath himself.
The answer was a tiny laugh and a soft kiss, warm lips pressing against Haise’s while a hand was caressing his hair.
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”
Now, they just needed a kid, or maybe ten.
