So, somehow I managed to get off work early on a Friday. This in and of itself is a miracle of modern time flow and is beyond my comprehension. But that *COMBINED* with my magically being able to secure Sunday night off to spend with my Jengie and I am just completely flabbergasted with how life works sometimes. Lmao! exactly!

Nope T_T The rice didn't seem to work. I can get him to come on and I can even get him to play something if I click around blindly but I don't think it knows what it's playing (if that makes any sense) and the screen's blank no matter what I do and the computer won't recognize him =(
(Though I'm a big ol' liar, I spent a good 30 minutes messing with him sometime after that post. Given up? Pah!)

I may very well have a funeral for him =( Jen seems certain it can be fixed and I keep trying to tell the poor girl that even if she could have him sent off it's doubtful they'll even touch it. You say water damage and most places just laugh, give you a cookie and say f'you.)

Ho'shit!! really!? I lived in Taylorsville for about 7 years, now I live in Louisville (a stone's throw outside of downtown in a place called Fern Creek) that's crazy =D and rather awesome!

When you have the funeral. Bury him in rice and then check on the body after another 3 days...like Jesus. LOL
I am not given up on the rice theory. My geeky guys say is works for cellphones and that drop their cellphones in their toilets all the time so they know what wet electronics do when they are unhappy.

LOUISVILLE!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?! I AUDITION FOR DERBY DINNER THEATRE OF THE FLIPPING TIME!!!!

AND at least you know where you ipod is whether it is dead, alive or just resting.
My friend Whit left hers on an airplane and she has been calling the travel services to try to track the plane.
This ipod (Sherri Marie was her name) went on the mother of all vacations.
