I was playing around with my bounce flash last night (something I haven't done since before I got this new camera!). I bought something to attach to it so I could bounce it off it and even use it outside ( Read more... )

This is ridiculously cute. Freya also likes to tear out the stuffing and squeakers right away and then carry around the carcass.

Very cool lighting! It's really effective. Also, the first time I read the phrase 'bounce flash' I read it as 'flounce bash' which I have every intention of making into a username next time I need one.

Dahlia likes to squeak her toys...over and over and over and over and OVER AND OVER again. That's what she was doing when I took this photo.

And bounce flashes are AWESOME. So much better than using the on camera flash since it bounces off the ceiling or something else in order to get light coming from above the subject. It looks way more natural than on camera flash.

Also flounce bash is an awesome user name. lol

What exactly is a bounce flash?

Coal (I wrote "Isaac" at first...WTH? lol!) LOVES his hedgehog. I've replaced it a few times. I wonder if they know it's different?
