Parvo is a big problem here. They closed our ONLY shelter here because every dog that left ended up dying of Parvo. (long story deleted) Now every animal going to animal control is put down. 8^(
One of my rescues is still scared, even though she was only about 6 weeks old. You can still see something happened to her - 2+ years later. Really sad. She is the white puppy in my icon. Her the first day out of the ditch: http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c135/waterdawg/RescuePuppy.gif
Aww what a cutie! It's so SAD to see puppies so scared. :-( It's sad to see any dog scared, but to see a 12 week old little puppy scared like that? Something just wasn't right. Hopefully he'll bounce back quickly. He seemed to in just the short time he was with me.
They usually bounce back, but I've learned there are a few things that they never forget. All but one of my dogs were dumped. They all have issues. Daisy is the worse though - how much damage can someone cause a poor PUPPY. Obviously alot. People can so suck.
