A little boy was with his father on their front lawn. The boy picked up a large hunk of snow and started to come at Dahlia. His father told him not to throw the snow but he did anyway. Dahlia, thinking it was a game, ran after him with tail wagging. The boy ran away shrieking. The father and I thought it was pretty funny--doubt the boy will throw ( Read more... )

Dahlia definitely loves games of chase. She's so much more into that than she is fetch or any of the rough and tumble games some dog play. It's why I really wish I could get her a companion who loved chase games. I think it would help her out SO much.

Haha my dogs are the same. They've only seen snow once but thoroughly enjoyed chasing snowballs that the kids in the local park were throwing. Hopefully that kid has learned his lesson though, not all dogs would take kindly to snow being thrown at them :/

Oh to have only seen snow once! *sigh* Dahlia loves it luckily. She better considering how much we get. LOL

I do hope he learned his lesson. Dahlia saw it as a game, but another dog might have gone after the kid.

We get a lot of that here too. If it's not snowing, it's raining! LOL Well, we do get a bit of sun in the summer but there are a LOT of cloudy days and rainy days. It's one of the most overcast and dismal areas in the country.

Sparky loves to play chase games but he thinks that kids like to be jumped on at the end, just like Kota does... Not a good idea!

I wish we had snow...

It would have served the little kid right to have a dog jump on him. ;-) Dahlia just likes to chase. She's definitely not a very physical dog so I've never seen her jump on anyone (though I've seen her get barreled over by faster dogs! lol).

You can have some of ours. This is just the first few inches of many! We average 121 inches a year here.
