I picked up my pre-ordered copy of Eclipse yesterday; I was so glad I pre-ordered, because we got well over a hundred copies in, and were sold out by 7 pm. Anyway, I started reading as soon as I got home, and finished up about an hour ago.

Yeah, I am a total dork and stalk my favorite authors on our book inventory system to see when they have something new coming out, and then gleefully preorder it- which turned out to be a lucky thing in this case, considering the sold out-ness.

*skims past review* I pre-ordered it from BN.com last week and received it today. Eeeee, must read!! I probably won't get a chance to finish it until the weekend though (if I'm lucky; my parents are coming up).

I also got the new Jasper Fforde, wheee!

Good thing you skimmed; re-reading my post it is pretty damn spoilery.

I didn't intend to finish it in under 24 hours- I just could not put it down.

I just finished reading Eclipse last night. Wow. Honestly? Wow!

I loved it.

Finally finished last night!! Okay, I'm not a Jacob hater - but my love for Edward and the perfectedness of E/B makes me just... meh about him and his complications. I am cruel and heartless!!! I did enjoy it but have the same feelings about the marriage/pre-marital sex thing which I read very cynically because my reading was tainted with knowledge of Meyer's probable moral/religious reasons for such emphasis. Still. Edward things doping Bella up with morphine might help with the sex and I find that HILARIOUS and definitely non-traditional. ;-)
