If Scar were to participate in this, he would take away both Ed and Al's toys (in one hand!) and then go spot for Hei, making sure to glare disdainfully at the Elrics every now and then as they try to outdo each other in speed on the ellipticals.

Yes - I wanted to have Scar in this, actually - he was going to be the serious but kind body builder who quietly comes along to pick up the things the Elrics leave scattered about, so that no one trips on them. Unfortunately um, after multiple tries I came to the conclusion that it was simply not possible for me to make him look recognizable f^^ A shame, because his presence might have saved Ed and Al from being set on fire.
