I got them mostly from his movies, Attila and Beowulf, which I capped myself. Some others were from icontests.

I know another post. How do you change his hair color?

Layers on soft light and red gradients help a lot.

But how do you prevent his skin from becoming all red?

You just erase those parts of the face and almost never have the layer on 100%. I find that a bright orangey color works the best on soft light, but it depends on what the hair color shade is to begin with, you just have to play around with it so it looks natural.
