While waiting on the micronation to arrive, China adjusted the bow on the bulky package. The wrapping paper had a very festive pattern on it that looked strangely holiday-neutral. Still, however in-bulk the wrapping paper may have been, the ribbon was very neatly and carefully tied into the most perfect bow he could manage. He had done his best to tie it in the shape of a very neat bag so as not to give away the shape of the gift inside.
Finland was in on the surprise party, and was a bit excited to be able to help in the planning of a surprise party for his "son". He was bringing Peter from the little family celebration that they'd had just Sealand and his adoptive "parents" (When invited, Peter's elder "brother" had politely declined), under the guise that it was just a playdate with Latvia.
"Play safe," he said. "And behave, and don't make any mischief." He put his hand on the doorknob, smiling at Peter and leaning down to give him a kiss before he opened the door and stood aside to let him go in first, trying not to grin too widely at the darkness inside that meant that the surprise party was going well so far.
The small nation wasn't expecting anything to be honest. He figured since none of the other nations really paid him much attention that was luck to have just a small family get-together. And well... going to spend the night with Raivis was a bonus. He already planned the night out; games, games, and more games. There were enough to keep them both busy.
"You don't have to walk me to the door..." he simply stated as he turned towards it; of course the first thing he noticed was the lack of light. He was hesitant to enter "...Maybe he's not home...? But I told him I was on my way... where's the light?" he stepped in finally, his hand searching for the nearest switch.
