Hollaback Girl Revisited

Stolen from Orange County Weekly. Because people from Orange are just that damn funny.

Gwen Stefani’s “Hollaback Girl” is one of the most baffling pieces of music of the modern age. It’s got something to do with cheerleaders-that much is clear, judging from the chanting and the marching band that’s honking and tooting in the background. Beyond ( Read more... )

Laughing out loud in the midst of family can be dangerous... because they all want to explain with great detail what I found so amusing. Instead of taking "I'll print it out so you can read it" as an answer, and, apparently, offering to read it out loud isn't either. They are upset, then, when a brief summary isn't funny. Now they think I'm being irritating for laughing at something they don't find funny.

But back to the point: that's great!

TOO FUNNY! :)

I think Gwen fights like a girl. All slap-slapping and hair pulling and huffing. I should SLAP her shit for writing that trash and inflicting it on the public and numerous cheerleading squads everywhere.

God, that was funny....

Ya know, I LIKED No Doubt. I liked Gwen then.

But now that she's emaciated and haute couture, I'm not really feeling her. As a matter of fact, she's downright pissed me off with some things she's said.

And I bought the LAMB album for my 6 year old daughter. It's an embarassment of a cd.

I liked their first CD. Which is now so old I can't remember the title of it. But it all went downhill from there. =(

I laughed so hard at that...Yet I still love that song. I don't know why, but I do. But that is amazingly hilarious, and I'll be damned if I don't bust a gut laughing whenever I hear that song from now on!!!

I can't wait to see you tomorrow!!! YAY!!!!

That is too funny.
I dig the song and all, but I'm not big on Gwen Stefani. I prefer No Doubt, definately.

I think the "This Shit Is Bananas" is what I like about the song. It's so... Random.

But anyways, yeah, that translation of the song is halarious.
