I struggle with perfectionism too, which is really just a form of pride (or at least a by-product of it). I've had to eat a lot of humble pie to even get to the point of confronting this sin.
I'm currently in a fog of melancholy, which is a result of being quite humbled. This post reminds me that I need to turn my grief into learning, to let God develop within me a better, more godly character, through this time of being humbled.
