In Which Doing Nothing is Regretted

I watched SNL with Taylor Lautner, and honestly he wasn't too horrible. He seems like he was enjoying himself and tried really hard. I mean we are talking about a teenager with limited acting experience here.

Watch 'em quick before YouTube rips them all down.

Team Edward vs. Team Jacob. At least there's something they can agree on.

They're gone now.

I enjoyed the show. I had to watch the monologue through my fingers and on mute, for fear of second hand embarrassment, but it wasn't as bad as I feared. Now I'm just trying to figure out why ontd has decided he's so obviously gay.

Dunno about the gay thing. I teach boys his age, and what they're apparently seeing as gay is just how some of them act. If he really was in the closet and trying to stay there, I'd wonder why he'd be willing to do some of the skits, especially the Mikash one. To me he just sort of seems like an awkward 17 year old. Apparently I'm missing something.

Yeah. I don't get the "definitely gay" vibe I've gotten from other actors. I think it's really: he dresses well, he's incredibly young/earnest, and he's got a midwestern nasally accent. Being an object of gay men's affection doesn't mean one is gay. But, meh. Doesn't matter anyway, bring on the abs and the wet tshirts.

BTW, thought I got over my inappropriate fascination. Apparently not.

I thought he did great. It's a shame the material sucked balls, though.
