Keira seems to think it's going to happen though, as this doesn't looks like box office profit, more like Oscar pandering.

I do like Keira, but I don't think this movie has Oscar potential anyway. Atonement had plenty and it got snubbed for the top awards-a real shame. All the main categories could have had atonement in them...

My reason for watching the Duchess when it comes out? Brit boy, Dominic Cooper. The original Dakin from The History Boys. He's not good looking in the traditional way but the guy is magnetic on screen. I thought the screen would explode in a few scenes.

I've never actually seen Cooper in action which is why every time I see him I end up thinking "he looks weird".

Yeah, he is kinda different. Not good looking in the normal sense.

Watch him in action and you either dislike him or love him. I found him fantastic. He's in History Boys (playing the part Ben later played) and he's in Mamma Mia in the summer movie set.
