I've reread this story a couple of times and it kills me that the Haitian is taking all these memories away from her. Will there be anything left once he's done???

I was reading this the first time on the bus on my crackberry, and then I went back and reread it now, and I still really love this chapter.

I can't wait to see what happens when she talks to Molly.

lovely chapter! i especially liked elle's dream and how she's so conflicted during it and right after. oh, this was cool, too:

The Haitian thought it a strange sensation, watching himself in her memory.

I'm sorry I didn't get to this sooner! I truly love this fic and where you're going with it, from Elle's dreams and her guilt/regret at leaving Gabriel, to her decision that she wants to keep the baby. And as always, your Bob is a perfect scumbag. So interested to see her meet Molly!
