I liked it! I loved the book, and when I saw you were writing a Glee "version" I had no idea how you were going to pull it off...but I loved it :) I like that Rachel was the one who ended up with all the power (and didn't let it go to her head) and how Quinn adapted.

And the ending came too soon! Sad! But I hope they made it to safety together, awww.

I could always do one of those "epilogues" that the book has, but that's not really the ending I think people are asking for... :P

This was awesome. But do they make it? I wanna know! This was really awesome. And so Rachel to help everyone escape.

Thanks for reading! I don't know if they make it or not, though.

Possibly the best story to come out of the exchange. The one written for me owns my heart pretty much, but damn - I just don't know if anything can compare to the quality of your writing in this. It was like the most subtly mind-fucking thing ever. And the Rachel/Quinn dynamic was phenomenal. Well done, B. Well done.

Thanks for arranging that whole exchange! Next time I gotta make sure I sign up in time to get a fic, too. But your fic was beat-you-with-a-brick-in-a-sock good, which outdoes "subtle mind-fuckery" any day.

I've never read the book in question, but wow. This was awesome. I really enjoy this world and the way that Rachel and Quinn fit into it. Reformed!Quinn almost breaks my heart because she's so different and subdued and trained, but Rachel is giving a command performance in her own life and this is just tragically beautiful, with a little dash of hope. I'm so glad they're escaping together and in case you hadn't gotten it from my overflowing praise for this brilliant piece, I would love to see you continue with them. :D

I would totally recommend reading the book. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I think it's a worthwhile read anyway.

But that's why I can't continue! The book ends on a held breath and it wouldn't feel right to keep going!

You had me at Handmaid's Tale, but this is fantastic in its own right. It literately gave me chills because it's so much more believable and terrifying in a modern/Glee context.

Typo, or best pun ever?

Thanks for reading! :)
