"Hey, Crucible passengers!" Oliver declared, waving at the sphere. He was standing in the middle of one of the Crucible's wet lounges. While that certainly wasn't an odd place to find Oliver, what might strike the other passengers as being odd was that, for perhaps the first time since the return of the original passengers, this lounge was empty except for Oliver and Lyle beside him. "We talked to the management, and we mysterious-mutlidimensional-not-really-passengers have this place to ourselves for tonight!"
Lyle grinned at the sphere from his place leaning on the bar and picked up where Oliver left off. "So we thought that since we're all getting off this ship soon, we'd have a little throw-back to high school and hold a little leaving party for everyone. I'm afraid we didn't quite have enough time to get a yearbook together but hey, you can't have everything."
"And we've got pints, which I think makes up for that anyway," Oliver added. "And food! And people--well, we should have people soon--and..." He paused, looking around the room for inspiration. "...a dart board. And anything else you want to do!"
"So you guys better hurry up and get yourselves down here before all the food's gone," Lyle said nonchalantly, "because I don't know about Oliver here, but I'm starving." He folded his arms, looking amused. "And if that isn't enough of an incentive for you all to get down here, I don't know what is."
