Rangiku arrived after she'd convinced herself being awake wasn't as horrible an idea as she privately had wanted to believe. In reality, she hadn't been sleeping well for the last week, which was a condition several people outside of the cells seemed to share. All of those inside had come out somewhat more inclined to keep to themselves, which wasn't surprising, but also wasn't a good sign of things to come.

Whatever those "things" might be.

One look around as she entered gave Ran an idea of what she probably wouldn't be doing - spending hours of time enjoying this place. She wasn't against libraries, reading, or anything of the sort, but she figured some of the kids here had to be more personally motivated to find the relevant information to this cruise.

If that information was to be found.

Oliver jumped at the voice. He was expecting others to join him in the Library, but it was hard not to get engrossed and lose complete track of events around him. He stood up from the table where he was sitting, poking around one of the shelves and waving. "I'm over here!" he called, keeping his voice soft so as not to disturb any other patrons.

He was surprised to realize it was Rangiku who was joining him. He'd expected some of the others to make it first. Not that he minded! It was good to see a friendly face.
