Making a little smug face, he waggled his eyebrows at her and spun around. "Just you wait and see."

"Ah! Here we go! This shop should do quite nicely!" he exclaimed, suddenly bursting into a jog. The store in question held sporting goods, aluminum bats, hockey sticks, for starters. Walking straight past them all, he made a beeline for the racks of swim trunks.

"What, don't think I'll jump right in with my suit on, do you? Got too many things in my pockets I don't want all waterlogged," he said without looking at her. His fingers flicked through the rows of trunks until he came upon a pair he thought should do the trick. In any case, they had drawstrings.

Victorious, he took it off the hanger, snatched up a pair of goggles, and strode over to the hand weights just a ways away from the swimming equipment, picking up a set of ankle weights as he went.

"Fan and old friend," he said, waving his hand on the scanner, purchasing the items he'd taken. He paused for a brief moment, remembering the robot security squad that had come after them, saying they had stolen everything they'd taken out of the shops. But everything was back to normal--as normal as things could be, he supposed--so he didn't have a reason to be worried they'd get attacked.

"Anyway, no, I'm not planning any kind of escape. The weights are only needed to keep me below the water."

He frowned, feeling slightly deflated from her statement. "No," he said. "I can do some tricks in there too..."

He thought about that for a moment, walking a bit slower as he did. "Well, sort of. You'll see!"
