This is really, really good. And sweet and uplifting and funny, which is never not awesome.

“I’ve never sleptwalked - sleepedwalked - I don’t walk in my sleep.” and At least she’s not terrified this time. But he’s not sure her laughing at him is any better.
Ha! I have no deep comment here, just major lols.

He wakes up, sees her and winces. “Sorry.” Then he takes a proper look around. He points a finger at her. “Ha!”
Vindication! And more lols. Seriously, I can totally picture John in this moment.

I really liked that this came up as an issue. The show itself really missed opportunities to deal with stuff like this, and that's a shame when it could have been incorporated pretty simply and easily like you have here.

And John knows, suddenly, how he’s going to spend those coming yearsI loved this whole exchange, but for some reason I found this line inexplicably hot, in some way. I guess I may have a thing about protective/possessive!John in relation to Elizabeth ( ... )

Oh good! That's probably my favorite line. He's such a goof.

Yeah, you can tell the show was written by dudes, from the way Elizabeth's lady-ness never came up at all. Rrr.

I also admire the way you managed to take the Who-verse Timey Wimey stuff and spin a fixit fic out of it.

Thanks! Yeah, I didn't realize until I was done how Rivery I'd made future!Lizabeth. Who has made me a big fan of people interacting with their future lovers, apparently.

Oooh, I love this. I love the different versions of John and Elizabeth we get a glimpse of in the future - and I may have squeed aloud at the thought of an Elizabeth from 2013 telling 2004!John it was going to be great. <3

This is really interesting! I'm not too familiar with Doctor Who (only watched until the beginning of season 2) but this was a really cool idea. And YAY that J/E got the happy ending they so deserve!

Thank you! I think they will. I'm fine with angst as long as everyone gets to run into each other's arms and have babies after.
