Writing for once! (And random work/weekend stuff)

I've finally started to do some writing. After years of planning to write something, finally I have some actual words down. How long it'll take to finish I've no idea (I seem to not do so well with sitting for long periods of time, rather things are coming in spurts) but at least it's a start ( Read more... )

A story!!!!!!! Perfect you have a fan already, I love read and always I'm searching for new ones, and doesn't matter how long you take to do it I'll be waiting.

Happy Birthday to your sister, she lives far away? My best wishes for her.

I like the new layout of your Journal, I'm designing a new for mine, but that will take some time.

Thanks hon. :) I'll put the link up when I (eventually) finish it.

Yeah, my sister lives down in the middle of England. It's about 5-7 hours, depending on the traffic. We're using my car so we'll rack up the mileage a fair bit, hehe.

I decided to go for a brighter journal. Plus, I'd had the old design for ages. ;) I was changing the mood theme, so it seemed a good time to bother changing the rest. :)

5-7 hours!!!??? Wow that's a lot of time, my country is so small that you need that time to cross it since east to west. Could you imagine that? the good is only I need almost half an hour to went to the beach.

I need your help. Here in my country during the holidays of Christmas and New Year we have vacation since december 23rd to january 6th, only if we work to the government, but if not we only have december 25th and January 1st as a days off, and that is almost for all America, How is in your country.

I'm quite near to a few beaches... the water's very cold though, there are only a few days a year where most people can go swimming. (Unless you really like cold water of course). ;)

We're lucky in that we get a number of days holiday each year, and as long as we book the time in advance we can take those holidays whenever we like. The official Christmas and New Year holidays though, are:

25th December & 1st January - England, Wales, Northern Ireland

25th December, 1st & 2nd January - Scotland

Most people will try to take off the 23rd Dec - 2nd January if they have enough holidays left, but it depends on your job and if it needs someone to be there or not. It's the same for people who work for the government, if they want to take more than the official holidays off, they need to have the holiday time left too.
