Would've been 13 years tomorrow with the same company, and sure as shit, I get canned today, by a VP who shows about the same emotion as a can of noodles.  Congrats, you actually made me glad i'm leaving your org.  Good luck delivering ANYthing based on the people you let go.

Me too, I was REALLY surprised. I never really got along with my last boss, and I'm guessing that translated up to his boss, he maintained the team he'd had for years, I was the outsider.
