Well the sewing machine pretty much has up and bit the dust. Which is not surprising, but hey. That thing has been going for a year and a half, made over 600 tails, at least five body suits and all sorts of miscellaneous things. stairs

those small carpetted steps the pet store sells for older dogs work just as well for older kitties.

and yes, once my Sweetheart got too old to go up and down, I got puppy pads for her to use

(I know NUTTING about sewing - only time in my life I had to get my mother's help with homework was to sew some sort of stuffed animal thingy)

We tried to see if he would use an intermediary step between the floor and the bed but it just confuses him, hehe. Poor old guy. But hey, I am willing to pick him up & put him on the bed any time he needs me to. <3

Poor Reo... it saddens me to hear how fast he's aging. It seems so accelerated...

It does, but it doesn't. What a lot of people don't realize is, old man's about 11 years old. We got him when he was 6 years old, and he was like a puppy again. He still has bouts of puppy behavior, especially when new/other people are at the house, he gets so excited and I think just ignores the stuff that otherwise slows him down. But if he goes wild for friends coming over in the evening, he'll sleep the entire next day and just not move much ( ... )
