Well, I can see how kids would think it's a fox because it's red with a white belly and has kinda-pointy ears. I'm not going to complain. :)
I did have a lot of fun though. Man, the people in the other mascots... they just waved... I was interacting with the crowd... I had one little girl see me and just run up for a hug! She couldn't have been more than two years old! It was adorable. They get so excited so to have the mascot in an "untouchable" place like a car or parade float is just no fun. I was really glad to give the kids such a fun time. :)
So it wasn't just walking two miles, it was running from one side of the street to the other to interact with kids while slowly moving forward over the span of two miles. No wonder I was so beat! Now I know how the Disney performers feel. :P
It just melts your heart when they do that, doesn't it?? I love when the kids just want to take the giant stuffed animal home with them. I always get told I would make a great babysitter. XD
Yusssss. Is Saturday going to work for you? We can hang out all day. <3 Maybe do art but you know we never actually get around to that... D: And get some Borrillo's. Nom!!
We can take you out to the place where our house is & you can see it. :) It's sooo exciting!
Hah! I know how that feels. :P We are pretty much open too at this point though when we start making plans the days fill in pretty quick. Hope you don't mind but our house is in its perpetual state of messiness what with getting ready to pack & move and not having much time. ._. Perhaps if you want you can come down Friday night & stay over? We'll figure something out!! :)
I especially love her light-green nose! *smiles deeply* Again, really cute and very unique!
I didn't realize you were a fursuiter!! *smiles brightly* I've always admired the fursuiters and would love to wear one at a furry convention. I dressed up as the mascot for Conservation Halton (a place where I performed volunteer work at a birds of prey rehabilitation centre). The mascot was a turkey vulture, and he was so awesome to role play "in-character." :>
Thanks for sharing your Easter Day pictures -- both in this LJ entry and in a previous entry before.
Lastly, congrats on moving closer to your closing date on the house! Eeeeee! That's so awesome and exciting!
