Hey, I have some last-minute things I know I will probably have to do Thursday night (delivering fursuit parts to people) but if you see us early on in the day feel free to grab us & give us something to help set up. You know we love you guys and want to help. <3
The Georgia Aquarium is great, went there the last time I was in Atlanta back right after Christmas, since it was a holiday it was crowded, so I didn't get to see everything, but still it's great. Unfortunately the penguin display is closed for remodeling, though the Ocean Explorer, with the Whale Sharks and Manta Ray, makes up for it IMO. The Tropical Diver exhibit has an awesome coral reef exhibit (the walls bend back where you're standing under some of the fish swimming overhead), and the cold water exhibit is also highly recommendable, including a large tank with otters and another with beluga whales.
RebelKat and I checked out the zoo last year. Loved the pandas! :) I wanted to check some places out this year, but we're going to be on an uber-tight schedule. :P
You might check out some of the little book stores and strip malls along 75 when you cross into Georgia. They also have some nice mom n pop diners along the way that have wonderful homestyle meals. :)
I love the $0.30 gas drop after exit 11 in GA. LOL!

I'd also recommend the Fernbank Museum of Natural History which has a number of excellent permanent and temporary exhibits and the Fernbank Science Center which, while smaller than the Natural Science Museum, has a planetarium with regular shows.
