There's a heartbreak in a line. I guess that's why I like Sam because I want to say that in our own small ways that is what we are all looking for. But maybe not everybody feels that way.

Lovely stuff. (Love the 'railroad hoboes'.)

This captures that feel of childhood fable, tender and bright and lovely, but with the dark grownup knowledge present too.
