Like I said to Caranfindel, I think what we got was the very best this team could do, and better than I'd dared to hope for.

I think that's a fair assessment!

I guess i just didn't expect (after I wrote way more critical speculation than I usually would, and
even feeling pretty sure what threads of narrative from the whole series that they'd choose to pull on) to
have such an utterly emotional reaction. Like: somehow the story no matter what it might lack or fail at was still going to get around the wards.
