I've decided to start codifying the acronyms I use, as people don't always seem to know them. Thus far, I only have two, but I'm adding them as I go along. Why is it that people have such a problem with the concept that correlation does not necessitate causation? Case in point: I keep seeing over and over again in the news that "marijuana is a gateway drug", "teens who use pot are more likely to use other drugs", et cetera.
