[Picspam] 365 Project: Week 2 // Jan 8 - Jan 15

Jan 16, 2013 20:31

Hi gang!

Here's week two, wrested with determination and prayer from the dim vaults of my iphoto library. [Seriously - I can barely see what's what with the lack of screen light. Thank goodness for strong lightbulbs and lamps with adjustable necks!]. Graffiti and amazing skies ended up this week's themes. Shocking, I know. :)

Enjoy!

Oh wow, the snail! Adorable. I love his pottery, too, and I may need to send you some cash soon for a shipment. :)

The snail's one of his newer designs - mine was a gift from _sara. I feel it does a good job keeping my difficulties in perspective, being a Snail of Woe. :)

I'm such a big fan of Dan's work. He's got some stuff up over on Etsy, but I would be happy to pick up a shiny for you, should you wish to go that route. ♥

Thank you!

I heartily agree - I love seeing flister's lives. :) Case in point - I very much enjoy seeing what all you get up to in the clay studio. It's exciting, seeing someone else work with clay and record their progress. So, thank *you* for continuing to share your work.

i'm so curious about the hanging clothes. i almost thought that no one in the usa hangs their washing out anymore. so in winter like that do you wait for it to be mostly dry and then iron it? or put it in the dryer then? how does that work? /mundane details of life interest me...

The bird on the wire mural, which store is that painted on? I don't recall ever seeing it.

And, did you get over the ReSource to look for cheap monitors?

I think it's new? Sara and I found it when we wandered about during the Holiday Hop. It's on the side of Curtis Lumber, the side facing Black Horse art supply. Talk about spectacular - I've pictures of the rest of the birds that I'll put up in a second post. [Though, you could always just walk down and see it for yourself. :D]

I haven't - I had some other, extremely nerve-wracking computer issues that I was working on instead. I shall have to wait for Saturday, me thinks.
