Happy Friday gang!

I know that most of you are already aware of help_haiti, the collection of auctions of fandom works, to benefit earthquake victims in Haiti. [since many of you have bidding threads going over there :)], but I wanted to let you know that I've posted an art offering too.

My specifics - not solely fandom-based. )

fangirls of a feather, art!, charity bits, consensual reality

I saw! Thank you. :D
And is it fair to assume that the icon is a hint towards want you're hoping for?

I was thinking fandom-wise, but either of those would be fun to do. Cape type things are tons of fun to figure out. :)

No worries, babe. :)

[*laughs* I think you blew your stalker cred by telling me. And I'd totally share that with you anyway, silly. ♥]

Man, I so wish I had some serious cash lying around. I'd be bidding so hard across the board over there.

I know, right?
All of the art auctions are already out of my price range. >_<

Though, that's also the point, so yay. :)

Exactly. :) I love how fandom pulls together for things like this. Drama aside, we collectively have such an awesome community.

Yeah. It's truly amazing and I'm so proud to be a part of this collective.

Group hug!

While I think it's a pity it's really totally awesome how quickly you moved out of my price range, go you!!

*laughs* thanks. It feels pretty good to have folks bid so high, I gotta admit.

What's your price range, anyway? And if you happened to buy my services in an auction, what would you want?

I don't feel comfortable going over $25 right now, I want to save for Camp Sparkle and it's time for the yearly dental checkup next month *keeps fingers crossed*

If I just happened to buy your services I would (of course ;-) want a Gerard figurine.

PS It's time for reveals on no_tags! All the writers are supposed to comment on this entry and say which story they wrote.

*nods* That makes sense. How much does Camp Sparkle generally cost?

*is shocked*
No, that's a lie. I'm not shocked at all. :D What kind of a Gerard figurine? All I can think of is that Black Parade bear which cracks me up.

I ended up having to default on no_tags. :( This last week was pretty horrible and was barely conducive to *breathing*, let alone writing. [Though I need to find out who's prompt I had, because I want to *finish* what I did manage to wrest free and give it to them, along with a proper apology. Though the pitch hit's better than what I was fighting with anyway.]

I donate to Doctors Without Borders every year directly, I'll either make my donation early this year or make two (instead of bidding).

You are made of awesome for donating your time and talent!

Go you!

I think it's cool to bid on this sort of thing as well as donating, because it lets people who might not have cash to offer still *help*. Granted, this is the first time I've 1) put my own skills up for bidding and 2) participated in auctions [in the past I've donated for fic, but have been afraid of the auctions]. I really had to think about participating right now, since life's in flux right now. But frankly, people in Haiti are in far, far worse situations than I am, you know?

*hugs you*
