:D Every time I stay in a hotel, I always think about her shtick on Continental Breakfasts.

I've never heard of Erma Bombeck. I'd to wiki her and I think she's probably a strictly US-only phenomena.

She was - she's dead now, but was very popular when I was younger. I enjoyed her sense of humor, even while it kinda horrified me and made me never want to have kids. :)

It was pretty grand - teh Sis and I made turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy for the first time ever. And they were excellent! We felt like culinary rock stars. :D
