Pony and a Plastic Rocket post

Nov 17, 2009 16:53

These are starting to crop up on the ol’ flist again, and I’m in dire need of the holiday cheer this year, so here’s my holiday wishlist. If pieces of it seem vaguely familiar, it’s because certain needs just haven’t changed from last year. :)

The RULES [which I'm sure you know...] )

holly friggin jolly, pony and a plastic rocket

With some luck, and a mind that fits me right now, I'll be sending along a mix for the coming months. :)

This collection of prints and poems brings me joy. I love printmaking, to the point where we're doing a section on it in my junior Science classes (it's about the image formation! and the pressure! Um, density of the ink? It's science anyway), and I love the idea of matching visual arts and textual arts. Even though I don't have the original book in which these were printed, I still love this page just for the glimpses you see of the work.

A place I love to poke round sometimes, the New Zealand Electronic Text Centre has some amazing NZ writing.

I hope you find the shiny things interesting. I'd love to send you a comfy warm hooded scarf and matching arm warmers, but postage is a little expensive right now. If that changes, I will send you something.

what size hoodie would you wear? you know, just for general populace knowledge.

I'm stuck in the endless threadless loop of awesome shirts. I don't need seven shirts from the internet in one day.

Oh no, are you at Threadless? It's so addicting! I had to ignore the sale this year... well, I went and found three different shirts I wanted. But I need to be shopping for OTHER PEOPLE. *facepalms*

What are you looking at?
