Wow... that really evokes an aloneness somehow; which of course Danielle was for so long. Really thought-provoking. Not quite what I expected, but beautiful nonetheless, and I am flattered that you gave it to me! Thank you so much! ;-)

Well, there was a reason I stuck that bit of disclaimer on the linking post at the 'squee; I figure very few people would expect crazycakes!hermit!Danielle in response to a request for poetry. :D And rest assured, your prompt re-kindled the spark for a Locke poem, a Desmond one, another Sawyer piece and a couple Jack/Sawyer ones... there are a few others too, but those are the clearest. Perhaps one of those shall tickle your fancy more effectively, eh?

Aloneness and thought-provoking - excellent! That's what I was aiming for. My work here is done. :D

Thank you for being so gracious about this offering. ♥ And a million thanks -again- for the prompt.

ooooh, Desmond, Sawyer, J/S.... oooh, yes!

I was utterly thrilled to find you'd done me something so wonderful - gracious was hardly needed! Thanks again! ;-) And you are welcome for the prompt!

:D Why thank you for saying so, combie.

[It's a pretty polite way to describe being swallowed by Leviathan, eh?]

Thank you for reading something that isn't even remotely a fandom of yours. You're the best. :D :D

This is too beautiful, filled with rich imagery.
You've captured Danielle's loneliness, especially in these two lines:

She collects shells
by the fistful.

Thank you so much for your comment! Danielle is such an odd character to write, it means a lot to me hearing that this piece captures her. It's particularly exciting hearing that the opening lines catch her isolation, as I'd intended. Thank you!
