Yes, I'm back and it's good to be home. :)

How good? Well, you guys are lucky that I couldn't find the camera when we entered Vermont, or else I'd be posting a vid of sunny Vermont landscape with roadtrip punch-drunk commentary. :D

Glad you're happy to be home! I don't know what you missed. I saw the Dalai Lama, that was cool. Other than that I've mostly been writing. Hope your trip was as good as your homecoming.

One of the best parts about treking back to the Midlands is the sense of inner calm and outright glee that wells up as I get closer and closer to the Northland's borders. Yesterday's drive was especially fine - we drove up the state along a route that we generally only traverse at night. We hit it at about five - the light was amazing, and the landscape breathtaking.

I love this place so much.

You saw the Dalai Lama?! That *is* cool - he is such a fascinating man. Did you know he has his own soothsayer? And three cheers for sucessful writing adventures.
