Today might possibly be the sleepiest Monday in history.

It seems like *everyone* is dragging and stupid with lack of sleep today. People who are normally perky are walking around with their eyes half closed. It's a little disturbing.

And I am pager girl, once again. Completely assignment-free.

Here's one, Penguins don't need cold weather, one variety lives in the Galapagos Islands.

And another, one of the guys I worked with used to play Chess with Bono when they were kids.

I honestly don't know which is the more fascinating creature, a 'tropical' penguin or a Chess-playing Bono.

[Not that I'm surprised that His Bononess plays chess; I'd heard a rumor along those lines before. From what the grapevine had said, he's supposed to be quite good. Does your RL search concur?]

Speaking of penguins, we saw the first stuffed penguin ever displayed in a museum on Saturday. He was quite the sad specimen, let me tell you. Mr. Toast actually took a picture...

Today might possibly be the sleepiest Monday in history.

I know I was fairly sleepy all day. That's probably because I'm not used to not sleeping until noon, but I almost feel asleep in my last class. Though, that could have had something to do with the professor. God help him, he tried, but that was one slow, dry fifty minutes.

Sounds like it was a combination of factors there, sweetie. I think the planetary atmosphere prolly contributed to the naptime vibe too.

These all look like required courses - I suppose the English might be fun [and the French, as I'm weird like that]. Forgive my absentmindedness, but what's your major again?
