You know in all this time you have never shown that to me. Ya punk!
That is wicked cool! I didn't realize that this was your inspiration, but I can definitely see how you took it and ran. And of course we will go and see it.
This is amazingly good news...it does a good job in restoring my confidence in humanity ability to think and to appreciate things that challenge their brains...
But this is where we have a huge disconnect. I grok your art, we have a piece you did at home and I have a piece you did with Mr Toast, and I've seen enough of your graphic work scattered about and other ceramics and such. But I don't see the connection with this installation and what you do.
Maybe it is because my appreciation of art comes from a different time/space/viewpoint. See your poetry and your writing, that is something we have in common, or at least we speak a lingua franca that allows the ideas to flow. But on art? Not so much.
It isn't me not having lived and shared common space with artists before, I have since 1980 many times and I was exposed to art all through my childhood indirectly through my art teacher mater. Perhaps you can share what it is about this work that inspires you so at more length sometime. I'm interested, but on reading about it and viewing what was available here?

I must admit that I had never heard of this (I'm very ignorant in the art field) but it looks very interesting!
*does the dance of glee with you*
