I actually wrote this last week and then didn't post it because I was busy with the Crowdfunding Creative Jam on Monday-Tuesday.  Here it is now.

This week I'm posting as a patron, and I'm reviewing one of my favorite crowdfunding projects.  I've been following "The Many Writings of K.A. Jones" since it began in July 2011.  I've waited this long ( Read more... )

It's not often that I'm lost for words but for once I actually am. Thank you so much for writing this. When I went first started I never expected to end up with someone like you helping me and enjoying my work so much. Having you involved has been wonderful for so many reasons but most of all for helping me to think more about everything that I'm writing.

I'm glad that you're enjoying getting involved because that was what I wanted when I entered into crowdfunding. There were other options but I chose this one so readers could get more involved and I hope that all the signal boosting you have done leads to more people like you getting involved in my writing.

Happy to be of service. I may be brokeass broke, but I still have my skills to chip in and support things I love.

I've noticed that a lot of the best crowdfunding projects tend to attract a few fans who are hugely enthusiastic. I've got marina_bonomi helping me with the cultural research for The Origami Mage and Fiorenza the Wisewoman. meeksp has several writers who regularly give prompts and boost the signal for new Story Sketches. It's a cool effect.

That's a matter of mutual enjoyment, and one of the things I love about crowdfunding.
