>>I plan to add the tools to let people use the credits to tip writers and artists<<

Good idea!

>>I'd like to develop the karma (non-monetary units) system so that people are rewarded for commenting, participating and leaving prompts<<

Yes, please.

>>I'd also like to discuss opening the project to other forms of art, such as writing (still bound by the one-hour limit!). <<

Yes, please.

If we ever manage to launch a Crowdfunding hub site, this is how I'd like to do it: create a list of what people want, crowdfund to build the core, and then add new features based on what people want enough to pay for and vote for.

Bit of thinking: My favourite bit is that it gets me to draw stuff. I have a bit of a procrastinating problem... with art for others, there's the deadline/someone's waiting for this angle, but random art... I have ideas I've ben postponing for years. So sometimes I just leave a prompt for myself so I get off my metaphorical ass and draw it.

And otherwise, getting new ideas presented on a silver platter is great, too - as is having a community that will leave feedback. :)

*jumps up and down* Add writers, please! One of my best skills as a writer has always been my speed, and I would LOVE writing to prompts with a set time like that!
