I would like to second the nominations for Addergoole and Spots the Space Marine (available at http://www.stardancer.org and on haikujaguar's LiveJournal).

I have been enjoying Spots the Space Marine since it began, and have donated. I enjoy the fast pace the the pseudo-screenplay format. The characters have depth, both individually and as a unit. The aliens are very alien.

Addergoole is a dark fantasy story set in a boarding school which is far more than it seems. As a disclaimer, I do occasionally beta-read for this project, and provide copy-editing skills. It is an interesting story, with multiple protagonists (each of whom reacts to their situation differently).

Both projects have been available for a year (possibly more in Spot's case, although it is a bit hard to track just when that one started).

I'd like to nominate:

Project title: Fireborn
Creator Name: Deirdre Murphy (Wyld_Dandelyon)
link: (Table of Contents) http://wyld-dandelyon.livejournal.com/37337.html
Category: Fiction
Summary: This is an ongoing serial about an earth where humans have evolved closer to nature. There are ones like the Lakeborn who can breathe underwater and the Windborn who fly, others who are majical but have to hide this talent. The stories are available to the public but she also puts up "donor only" sections or posts the public ones early if she gets funding via her "Sponsor Me" link.

This is an intriguing story that carries you out into another world and makes you wonder "what if". It's compelling reading and the twists keep me guessing about what's going on.
