Edie woke up slowly to the sound of knocking. She'd taken a few pills the night before to help her sleep, and she still felt groggy as she rolled over. She didn't recognize the bed at first, but that wasn't very unusual.

She looked toward the door with foggy eyes trying to remember who Gwen was. "Come in...I think it's unlocked..." Edie said hoarsely as she sat up in the large bed. She scrambled for her purse, and the compact mirror inside. She needed to check her make up before anyone saw her.

Gwen slipped in the room and smiled shyly at Edie.

"Good mornin'," she said lightly. She tried not to giggle at Edie and her compact, but she didn't exactly blame the girl. Settling into a strange castle with none of your personal comforts wasn't exactly easy.

"How are you feeling?" she asked, stepping towards Edie. "I know it was a bit of a rough night."

"Oh, Gwen," Edie said, finally recognizing the woman after judging that her make up was enough in place to look up. It was one of the people who had helped find her last night and bring her back to the castle. She still didn't completely understand what had happened to her. And then there was Donna, saying she was from the future. That was obviously impossible, but something about it made her feel unsettled and nervous.

Edie gave her a meek smile. "My head is still absolutely swimming, Gwen. I can't tell up from down here," she paused. "I slept well, though."

Lucy woke up feeling simply, blissfully happy
