After a day of reflection, Reinette knew she could no longer hide with good conscious within the walls of her room. There was still a great deal she did not understand about what happened to her. And though her memories were restored, they were vague at best and disturbing at their worst.

It was time to face the world, however strange it was.

Hopefully there would be more answers that questions for today, at least.

She made her way towards the study, determined to further examine its contents. The question of just what happened to the castle's previous occupants haunted her. Especially if death was no longer a permanent thing.

Her thoughts just distracting, Reinette was not aware of the stranger in the hallway until she was almost upon him. She took in the sight of his bloodied leg.

"Are you all right?"

Archie looked up, his blue eyes roaming over the features of the woman coming towards him. A blonde... just was I asked for. He tried to get to his feet, somewhat feebly, but found his bare feet slipping in the pool of blood he'd left behind. "S-some... lunatic stabbed me," he confided, pointing in the direction of the study. "I think I knocked him out, but we should run away..."

Once more, he tried to make himself upright, but his injured leg seemed to want nothing off it. Or, at least, that's the impression he intended to be giving the woman.

"Please, can you help?" He reached for her, but then saw that his hands were just covered in blood. "J-just get a towel. I won't touch you, I just need to get somewhere safe, with some water and some clothes I can use for a dressing..."

He was finding it difficult not to grin.

"Do not be absurd," Reinette countered, placed herself with a dancer's ease firmly beneath one of his arms. "As if I would let you collapse before me and not offer some sort of assistance."

She took in his features, noting an odd light to his eyes. No doubt it was the pain. He was a stranger, which was unsettling. But she was also well aware that two strangers had just days ago attempted to save her life.

"You might not know me, but I assure you that is not what I am made of."

She guided them away from the direction he was fleeing as best she could, even then reaching for a phone.

"Can you tell me anything about who attacked you? I have people that I can contact We can find them, and deal with them if need be."

"H-he was tall, and he had long, dark-k hair." Archie limped heavily, favoring his uninjured leg in every way he could manage. His arm wrapped around the woman's shoulder, holding on and keeping himself close.

As they made some minor haste down the hallway, Kennedy looked back behind him, then turned his attention back to the woman. "I wish I knew something more to tell you."

A long, drawn out breath escaped him. "Thank you for helping, Miss..." He was, of course, asking for a name.
