Martha was out for an evening jog, trying to exhaust herself enough to actually sleep for once - preferably a night of sleep without nightmares, but, at the moment, she'd take whatever she could get - when she saw a gleam of green in the night. An unnatural colour, she thought, and she hoped dearly it wasn't another one of the castle's more unsavoury inhabitants making itself known.
As she drew to a halt, she saw that the green light was coming from something vaguely human-shaped, and she frowned, mentally chastising herself for being stupid enough to go out in the dark, alone and unarmed, when she knew perfectly well that there were people who wanted to kill her lurking about. She palmed her mobile from her pocket, but made no move to open it and send a communication.
"Hello?" she greeted the mysterious person in the darkness.
As Romana stood, sonic screwdriver in hand, her eyes watched as the creature appeared to be more clear. She even received a voice, “I’m happy to know someone around here speaks,” She replied unsure of being so kind was such a great idea. It was manners of course but yet again she had been lied to. She could be on one of those strange reality shows Dugan’s son’s wife was watching three days ago

Martha raised an eyebrow at the flurry of questions, though she doubted it could be seen in the dark, not even with the illumination provided by the strange penlight. The voice sounded female, and it wasn't someone she recognised - so definitely not the Master, then. She relaxed slightly, though she was still on her guard - sarcasm wasn't always a sign of welcome, after all.
"It's a castle," Martha told her, opting to point out the obvious. "One with a great many mysteries, including a barrier to keep the residents inside. You'll find all sorts of information on your mobile - the code to unlock it is 29.10. Everybody here's received a ticket of some sort, and been brought here from a variety of places and eras via helicopter."
"Human, twenty-first century Earth - I'm from London, to be precise." The depressing thing was how used she was to explaining this - two years ago, it was something she would have taken for granted. But now? She half-expected people to be from a different race, planet, or time period. "Also not somewhere

Well I know that bit. Romana thought to herself before walking a smidge closer. Her steps began to get a bit quicker when the woman spoke of the communication device, “That would explain the ticket,” She said with another huff of breath, “I’m giving an educated guess that you were lied to as well.” Now it was a bit strange but as she got closer the woman she had reason to believe that she was slightly able to be trusted. As Martha spoke of the place this just made her stir a bit, one on the half that she yes was set up and two was due to the fact that she didn’t have to bore herself to death living on Earth
