Ianto had been making his way towards towards the front of the castle to head back to his cottage, when he heard someone calling out. He figured it was probably someone new to the place, considering they said they were here to perform for an event.

As he kept walking down the hall, he could see the girl that had been calling out. He wasn't sure he could get by without being noticed, so he kept on walking, figuring she would notice him soon and ask about the "event" that she was brought here for. He didn't look forward to telling her the truth about this place.

"Excuse me," Rachel called out to the man that she saw and hurried over to him. "Excuse me, sir." She reached out for his arm to make sure he stopped. "I'm Rachel Berry, I was invited here to sing for the event that is taking place." She looked up at him with hopeful eyes. This man seemed important looking, hopefully he could clear this whole mess with Kurt up.

Ianto sighed slightly when she noticed him. He slowed down his walk, but apparently it would've have matter to the girl if he hadn't because she made sure he stopped to talk to her.

"It's nice to meet you, Rachel. Did you by chance just arrive here today?" Purposely ignoring the comment about the event she was invited here to sing for, for the moment.

"Yes," she smiled her brightest smile. "I just arrived a short time ago. I was expecting some sort of greeting, but no one came." She frowned. "Did I get here early? Or, late? I followed every direction on the note and came as soon as I saw the helicopter." Shouldn't this man know who she is and when she got here?
