Useful things, kitchens; it made Phanan feel a bit better having successfully located it. Not only did it make him feel like his navigational skills were particularly keen and commando-like but it also solved the problem of being hungry. So it was almost like multitasking and that made him feel special.
He didn't notice the man reading the book until after he had wandered in, which was too bad; if he'd known there was going to be an audience he would have gone for a grander entrance. As it was he settled for something between a smile and a smirk and a quirk of his remaining eyebrow. Even the red glow of his mechanical eye seemed to have a mischievous glint to it.
"Is there any system of organization I should watch out for here or is the smartest thing to do just to start throwing open cabinets until I spot something eatable?" The cyborg asked.
Ianto looked up at the person that had entered the kitchen. This was someone he hadn't met before, but then again new people had a tendency to show up whenever around here.
"Ah, not really any specific system to how things are organized in this kitchen. People seem to just put things wherever they'd like. So looking through different cabinets is probably your best option."
