Ivy's appearance and activities did not go entirely un-noticed. Not this time, and not on a number of her previous visits. Up in one of the trees nearby, a small figure had been watching her with increasing curiosity for a while now, and it was at this moment that her curiosity about the strange green lady overcame her.

Some twenty feet before Ivy, a naked twelve year old girl dropped from the branches above, falling some fifty feet to the forest floor before, apparently unharmed and unpreturbed, righted herself and observed the woman with undisguised fascination. "Why are you green," she asked, without introduction.

Ivy looked down at the little girl, less surprised by her lack of clothing than her existence in general. She mused how to answer for a second before saying. "I am green because I have a very close connection with plants." She wasn't sure if the little girl could understand that answer but simpler explanations might tell more than she was willing to say. She gestured though to bring some flowered vines closer as a demonstration. As she stroked up the vine and over the flower she said. "I did not expect to see people here."

"That's because we've been hiding!" She said, looking Ivy up and down. "The last people who came here weren't very nice. But you don't seem like you want to hurt anyone. You just pick plants, like a rabbit," she rambled. "Where did you come from? Did Yahweh make you, too?"

"No, I have no desires to hurt anyone. As long as they are not hurting my plants that is." She told the girl. "And I am very careful in my picking of plants." Then a thought occurred to her. "Do you and your family grow things or just hunt?"

Ivy considered the girl's questions. "I come from very far away. From a very different land." Ivy may be a scientist and not likely to believe in any organized religion but she had just enough in her childhood to believe in God. "Yes he did and I was a lot like you but then I was remade to be like this." She told the little girl.
