The five of them make an interesting group, Billy thinks. People aren't really his forte but he's willing to ignore that for the time being. Safety in numbers was a concept he could understand and if some crazy chainsaw wielding maniac came barreling their way, he wouldn't be surprised. Startled, probably, but not surprised. Death in a creepy underground lab is a little too cliche'd for him, so he opts to avoid it.

Lights above his head flicker and Billy looks up at them. "That's not a good sign," he says dryly.

"It's certainly a curious sign," Lucifer observed, pacing down the hallway casually. "Whatever magics are in place which cause the castle above ground to remain clean and in good repair evidently don't extend down here. It gives one pause to wonder what else might be different in this locale." He wondered, for instance, if ressurrection was as guaranteed here as it was elsewhere on the castle grounds. If not, this lab could potentially serve as a useful means of dispensing with troublesome neighbors in a lasting way.

Morgana was right behind them, her hands holding up one of her thicker woolen dresses, the cold seeping through even that. She shivered a bit, and that was not only from the cold as she looked worried about. "This place is very magical..." She said breathless, forgetting the fact that she was not even supposed to have magic.

Damon followed behind the others and listened carefully to what they had to say. For the moment, he wasn’t the biggest fan of the Sam guy, he just got a bad feeling from him.

"How can you tell," he moved up next to Morgana. "Not that I'm disagreeing with you, but just wondering how you already know." If she knew a great deal about magic, then maybe she was the right one to talk to about the spell book he found down here.

Lucifer rounded the corner, Damon and the others following close behind, and took in the sight before him ( ... )

"Isn't this quaintly charming," Lucifer observed, walking out onto the walkway. His footsteps rang out against the metal grille of the floor. He stepped to the railing overlooking the pit, and placed his hands upon it, leaning forwards. "So," he said, over his shoulder, "Who wants to be the first to see what happens when you step over that yellow line?"

John moved with them, keeping his eyes on the display as they did, frowning as the moved into the large area. "Well, whop-di-do, it would seem something is quite odd here." he tapped the Vortex malupulator, trying to switch on some more light, and to scan the thing he picked up on his scanner even more. "Well.." he glanced up at the cabin. "I can see that cabin is there, however, my scanner is saying there is nothing there. It is as if its just a spot in space. nothing, no matter, no time... no nothing. Its like a small black hole in space."

But he had a frown on his face, scowling almost. "Okay, I have seen a lot of weird readings on this thing, but I think this one is new." he scowled, dotting the screen again. "No matter how I cry to scan it, it shows up as a big ball of.... nothing." he looked back up.

Morgana was, as the others, quite surprised to see the area, her blue eyes wide as she looked around, shivering a bit, because she had no idea what the objects they would call 'machines' was. For her it was metallic beasts. But as Sam spoke, she looked back up again, her eyes tracing the line. "Oh don't be stupid." She said, moving closer, her heart pounding in her chest. "No one is stepping over that line." She glanced a bit around, before she dug her hands into a inner pocket, flipping out a coin from her own time. She headed forward, passing Sam and stopping by the line, glancing down at it. She took the coin, and flipped it inside.
