George visibly started at the sounds of the cans, looking up from the stick he'd been whittling down to nothing. There wasn't much point in it, really, but it staved off boredom so it was as good a thing to do with his time as any.

"Oi!" He yelled, squinting at the two who approached him through rheumy, yellowed eyes. Now, his vision wasn't quite what it used to be, but he swore these two weren't from the camp. They didn't look much like cannibals either, but..

"Who're you? What're you doing here?" George barked, standing up as fast as his legs would allow him.

Well, that was one mystery solved. The man spoke with a British accent. Something from the far south of the country, though much beyond that, he couldn't be certain. It could simply be that there had been some cultural drift over the centuries. It happened with any accent.

It was also rather convenient. If the castle had happened to be in France or Germany, for example, Rose would have been of little use in this leg of the journey.

"Just looking for a place to rest for a while," Lucifer replied, affecting a south London accent for the moment. "Rose here has come from London, and I joined her along the way. We aren't looking to cause you any trouble."

Rose stayed close to Lucifer as they entered into the camp. There was a small bit of fear in her, as they really didn't know what to expect.

Then, there was a man whom looked a lot like them in clothing. Of course he didn't recognize them and so it seemed that they did have some organization, at least to the point where they knew each other. Rose just looked up at him as Lucifer talked and smiled.

"London," George exclaimed. "Haven't gotten anyone from those sorts in years. Anyone even left in the place?" He asked Rose. God knew they didn't have much news from the outside world. Just what the newcomers brought in, and there hadn't been any of those for... well, George wasn't rightly sure. A long time, in any case.

Looking them over, George's attention narrowed in on the clinking bag held over Lucifer's shoulder. "S'that food?" He asked hopefully. The supplies those strange visitors had brought had run out a while ago, and the thought of canned beans with molasses made his mouth water.
