Nathaniel has spent most of his morning sulking the horrible stains on his clothing, left by the... unfortunate spills from the day before. There were no way he was admitting to himself just what he had been covered in. If he did, he would be terribly traumatised ( ... )

Harry was on his way out for a run. It wasn't his favourite way of exercising, but there wasn't a great deal of choice here and he had to do something. Not being an electrician, there wasn't much he could do to help with the current problem. What with everything that had been going on recently, he stepped outside the castle carefully.

He looked around and spotted dinosaurs that he did not want to tangle with at all. Perhaps it would be best to post a notice up warning people that it was there, and go for a run inside instead. Except then he noticed Nathaniel.

"Nathaniel," he called, and then regretted it when they looked in his direction. They responded to movement, didn't they? Harry wasn't sure, but he whispered, "Keep still." Sadly, though, he didn't have a plan beyond that.

Nathaniel looked up, fear in his blue eyes as he looked at Harry, the relief of seeing the man washing over him. However, the relief was short lived as one of the big dinosaurs was attracted to Harry's voice, turning its massive body to try and curiously figure out what this new thing was.

The dog barked again, drawing a few looks, but none of them were seriously threatened by the small creatures.

Nathaniel stood absolutely still.

Having told Nathaniel to stay still, Harry could hardly ask him to move. So he started edging towards the other man. The dinosaur nearest Harry correspondingly took a few steps towards him. So he stopped.

"We need a distraction." Nothing immediately came to mind, however, and he didn't have anything useful in his pockets that he could remember. It didn't help that he didn't like the idea of looking away from the dinosaur closest to him, worried about what it might do and how fast it could move.
